ABOUT US

All Safe Pool Security, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Joel M. Cohen. After retiring from a 30-year career practicing law in Pensacola, FL and surrounding areas, Cohen was restless to provide products and services that were truly needed by his friends and neighbors.

After researching the Florida Pool Barrier Law, enacted in 2002 and recalling both a local doctor and pastor who both had lost young children in backyard swimming pools, Cohen was on his way to a new and fulfilling career providing swimming pool protection for families in his community.

Further research revealed that young children dying in backyard swimming pools was not a local, isolated, or infrequent problem. The grim reality is that accidental drownings can happen when you least expect them, and we’re here to provide a reliable prevention method. In 2013, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention produced data stating that unintentional drowning was the number one cause of unintentional injury deaths in age groups one year to four, and the second largest cause in age groups five years to nine. The facts simply cannot be ignored.
